“Case della Memoria”

Historic Homes Association, Italy

The “Case della Memoria” Historic Homes Association is a network of 80 houses museum in 12 Italian regions related to many famous people. These are the homes where great figures in every field of knowledge, art, literature, science, history lived. From Giovanni Boccaccio to Leonardo da Vinci; from Michelangelo Buonarroti and Galileo Galilei to Giuseppe Verdi. And also Giacomo Puccini, Enzo Ferrari and Luciano Pavarotti.

It is not possible to read the works of great writers, admire the paintings and sculptures of brilliant artists, without “meeting” the protagonists, their experiences, the history of the time they lived and worked, the strong link with the territory in which they were born or where they lived. The association’s goal is to raise awareness of and enhance these significant historic buildings.
