Villa Gyllenberg

Helsinki’s Kuusisaari, Finland

Villa Gyllenberg is an art and home museum that was the former home of banker Ane Gyllenberg (1891–1977) and his wife Signe (1895–1977). The museum is situated in Helsinki and is owned by the Signe and Ane  Gyllenberg  Foundation.

Ane Gyllenberg had a passion for art and built a large collection of both Finnish and international art during his lifetime. The oldest pieces date back to the 16th century and the latest to the 1970s. The collection includes nearly 40 works by Helene Schjerfbeck, most of which are on permanent display.
